Removable chain
A cast detachable chain is the first malleable iron chain widely used in industrial applications. It is a chain with lightweight and low cost, which can be provided in various sizes and can be used in various applications. In a relatively clean environment, light and medium loads can be transported at low or medium speeds. The detachable chain is composed of integrated interconnected links, which are easy to assemble and disassemble. As shown in the figure, each connecting rod is inserted at an appropriate angle from one side. After full insertion, the chain link will be lowered to the same plane as the rest of the chain and become an interlocking chain segment until it is raised to the proper angle again and separated.
If there is no tensioning device in the chain application, the ends can be connected to the continuous chain by using the properly inclined coupling links (connected in pairs with pins and cotter pins), and the degree of relaxation can be minimized.

When the detachable chain is operated, the closed side of the hook is close to the sprocket. For driving applications, the direction of travel is the hook direction; For conveyor belt and elevator applications, the direction of travel is the end bar direction.
The removable chain is made of malleable cast iron or Promal (Duramal). The tensile strength of the Promal link ranges from 880 to 21250 lb. There are also two types of chain links: type "A" has a flat hook, which meets the standard service requirements; "B" type has rib hook more suitable for heavy load service. All removable links are manufactured precisely according to the standard chain industry specifications and can be interchanged with links from other manufacturers.
Our detachable chain has a pitch range of 0.902 to 4.063 inches, which can meet various detachable applications. A series of complete attachment styles are provided. Brutally or cast steel sprocket can be used for each detachable pitch size.
Material Science:
Removable chains are malleable iron or Promal (Duramal) cast links. Standard carbon steel heat treatment pin and carbon steel case-hardened bushing. However, stainless steel pins and bushings can be provided if specified.
